Remotely controlled pressure regulators (volume boosters)
Application: The remote controlled pressure regulator is used if the pressure regulator has to be used at inaccessible locations (e.g. in hazardous or ceiling areas). The setting is made using a pilot pressure regulator that can be placed anywhere. The regulated pressure corresponds to the pressure of the remote controlled bore.
Version: Self-relieving (with secondary vent)
Materials: Body: die-cast zinc Z410 (model series 5: aluminium), top cover: brass, diaphragms and seals: NBR
Temperature range: -10°C to max. +60°C
Pressure gauge connection: G 1/4"
Own air consumption: None (model series 5: max. 0.5 l/min)
Media: Oiled and unoiled compressed air, neutral gasses
ATEX: II 2GD IIA/IIB/IIC T4 0°C <= Ta <= 60°C
Advantages: •automatic venting in the event of overpressure on the secondary side, •simple assembly of the single components through coupling kits within a model series and thread size, •remote pressure regulation using pilot regulator (when using a precision pressure regulator as a pilot a very accurate pressure setting is possible)
