Diaphragm driers model series 1 and 2
Materials: Body: die-cast zinc Z410, seals: NBR
Temperature range: to max. +50°C (Model series 0: to max. +60°C)
Input pressure: 4 - 12 bar
Media: Compressed air, neutral gases
ATEX: II 2GD IIA/IIB/IIC T4 0°C <= Ta <= 60°C
Application: Diaphragm driers must be used, to dry compressed air directly at the end point (avoiding condensation). The air must be finely filtered before reaching the diaphragm drier. We recommend the following filter combinations for the following scenarios:
Model series 1: Prefilter type F 14 AM + microfilter FX 14 + 2 x coupling kit KP 1
Model series 2: Prefilter type F 12 AM + microfilter FX 12 + 2 x coupling kit KP 2
All diaphragm driers have their own air consumption, which is depending on pressure and size.
Advantages: •simple assembly of single components using coupling kits within a model series and thread size
Information: Painting unit: build your own painting unit from pre and fine filters and diaphragm driers.
Warning: Determining the input pressure at 7 bar
*Example: At a compressed air (not dried) inlet temperature of 25°C the pressure dew point is 5°C (i.e. 25 °C - 20 K) at a flow-rate of 44 l/minute in an FMT 14-50.
