Function: Standard type: The coupling occurs as for standard couplings by inserting the push-in nipple into the coupling socket. Uncoupling is effected by pressing the uncoupling button. Then the coupling socket closes and ventilates the coupling plug when still held in the coupling socket. The coupling socket only releases the plug when the residual pressure on the plug side has fallen below a pressure of approx. 0,5 bar. This reliably prevents the dangerous recoil effect. Even repeated pressing of the uncoupling button cannot bypass this safety function! zinc-plated steel type and 1.4404: The plug is released by pressing a second time (regardless of any remaining residual pressure).
Advantages: •Safety function is controlled via residual pressure on plug side (only standard type), •antistatic, compliant with ATEX 2 standard (no potential source of ignition) and can, therefore, be used in spray booths, gas environments or grain transfers (only standard type), •plastic body prevents surfaces against scratching (only standard type), •silicone-free manufacture (only standard type), •coupling head is rotatable - after screwing on, the push button can be turned to an ergonomically optimum position.
Recommendation: Use coupling plugs made of hardened steel!
