Adjustable air amplifier
Function: The air escapes through a small adjustable circular slot almost at the speed of sound. The surrounding air is drawn from the rear side of the air amplifier so that a mush stronger air jet emerges on the front side. The air amplifiers can either be fitted in tubes or used as open systems and they function like a vacuum system, fan or a blower to blow out or suck dust, gases, granules or fiber materials. When installing in tubes the air amplifiers supplied have factory settings that include an amplification factor of 12 to 25: 1 (as open system: 36 to 75: 1, High pressure nozzle 4 : 1).
Suitable: Variable air amplifiers are installed when large air quantities with minimal compressed air consumption are required at low pressures. They may be adapted to the application using the easily adjustable nozzle.
Temperature range: -20°C to max. +120°C
Working pressure: optimized for 5 bar input pressure (filtered, un-oiled compressed air)
Application examples: •Transportation of all materials that can be transported by quick movement of air, e.g. chipping, saw dust, smoke, paper, fabric strips, pellets, dust, capsules, powder, etc., •ventilating and exhausting smoke and vapour without a ventilator (explosion protection), •removal of chipping, trimming residue, water, dust, etc., •cooling of cast parts and cast moulds, •cleaning and cooling of extrusion parts that are moved through the air amplifier
Advantages: •low air consumption - energy saving, •significant noise reduction, •easily adjustable air flow and pressure, •immediate on / off behaviour, •no electrical current, no risk of explosion, •maintenance free, •no moving parts - no wearing, •low sound level
